Dr. Talha Manzoor serves as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Water Informatics and Technology (WIT) at LUMS, where he is also the Associate Director of Operations. At the Center he is involved in the modelling and decision making for socio-hydrological systems with a focus on water in agriculture. He is also leading field investigations to study the hydrology of small-scale water bodies through the deployment of hydrometeorological observation systems. His work also includes the development of Integrated Assessment Models for large-scale planning in the Indus Basin. Dr. Talha also holds an appointment as Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering. He has an engineering background with a BS in mechatronics engineering from NUST, MS in computer engineering, and PhD in electrical engineering from LUMS. Prior to LUMS, he served as an Assistant Professor at Namal University, Mianwali.
